The Lore of the vampires

Raise dead. - 5+
raises D3+4 Zombies to any point within 12" of the caster, and not in combat.
Vanhels danse macabre. - 7+
unit may move 8", benefits from ASF and re-rolls all failed hits.
Gaze of negash. - 8+
Range 24" causes 2D6 str 4.
Curse of years. - 8+
remains in play, causes a wound on every model in the unit on a 6+ (roll for each) and every magic phase it lowers (5+ - 4+ and so on). (and no armour saves)
Wind of undeath. - 11+
All enemy units with 12" take a single woud on a 4+ (no armour savws)a spirit host swarm is crated with wounds equal to the number of wounds caused.
Raise legion. - 12+
Creates 5D6 zombies like raise dead spell.
OR
restores 3D6 wounds across any units in the army and it can be split down (2 wounds on skellies and two on the black coach for example)

Sztandary super, normalnie widzi mi sie ze bohaterowie troche dostali po tylku, za to armia sama w sobie staje sie coraz bardziej mobilna i samowystarczalna. Przy odpowiednim zlozeniu rozpiski strata generala nie bedzie juz tak bolala jak do tej pory. |

So I had my first game with the new rules tonight. My buddy is going to posting a battle report before too long. I pulled out a victory in what was a very close game in the last two turns despite 3 motherfarking mis-casts.

Any model taking a wound is slain outright.

Wight king only, greatweapon causes d3 wounds, any model not slain must pas a toughness test each round or suffer another wound.

Vampire Only, each unsaved wound heals a wound to the wielder or the unit he is in.

On foot only, Heavy Armor if wearer is on his own he at -2 to be shot at.

Bound 3 magic missile d6 str 4, 18" units suffing a casualty take panic check. roll a die, on a 1 it breaks.
Helm of Commandment 30pts
If wearer is not in combat one friendlt unit with in 12" may use bearer weapon skill.
The Cursed Book 20pts One Use Only
For one round all attacks against bearer are WS 1.

Interesujace, gra bedzie jeszcze ciekawsza, mam tylko nadzieje ze te zombie beda grywalne. Szkoda troche ze Coach nie nabija ran dla siebie, ale lepszy save i ward oraz dawanie marszu to swietna sprawa na flance. |

I saw the book today. Some interesting thing I haven't heard yet...
There's another monster unit called the abyssal terror. It's a large target flying monster. Will try and have the stats up later this week.
Necromancers can choose their spells.
They may choose from either invocation of nehek (heals wounds), danse macabre, and one other, and they always have raise zombies which casts on a 4+ and raises d6+4 zombies.
Spirit Host are no longer swarms. They are undead and ethereal.
Black Coach does not gain wounds back from killing, but it does have the "vampire" special rule which allows units to march and so on. 3+armor 4+ward. Still 200 pts.
Vargulf is a vampire, hates everything, regenerates and has a special rule which means it has no flanks or rear.
Zombies are WS1 S2 T2 I1, but no longer always strike last! Fleeing from a zombie unit has a special rule. Zombies do not pursue, but when a unit fless from zombies, the fleeing unit takes d6 str2 hits for each full zombie rank. So fleeing from a unit of 25 would inflict 5d6 str2 hits.
Dire wolves are no longer str 4 on the charge.
The Wight King is T5 with W3.
Ghouls have the exact same stat line, except they don't skirmish and they aren't alive.
No units got cut as far as I can tell. Everything from the old list is still there. |
